| The Greater 288 Partnership | |
The Greater 288 Partnership is a regional advocacy organization focused on current and future opportunities to improve infrastructure and quality of life. The Partnership seeks to represent the needs and interests of the region to decision making bodies and funding agencies.
"We need to get creative in our approach to regional (transportation) funding, and it’s not going to happen without groups like the Greater 288 Partnership."
- Harris County Judge Ed Emmett
"Communities need to take a seat at the table to plan their future infrastructure. If they don't, they won't be happy with what they get."
- Mary E. Peters, Former United States Secretary of Transportation
"We've got challenges in front of us. I believe we're up to it. But, we need public support. Your organization's support is critical for Hwy 288. I encourage (Greater 288 Partnership) to stay involved, stay enthusiastic, and demand these projects move forward."
- Ned Holmes, Texas Department of Transportation Commissioner
